Learning About Heredity

Pollination
Pollinations is the the transfer of pollen grains from the male part of a flower to the female part of a flower. Pollen grains contains the male sex cells. The female part of the plant contains the female sex.
Two types of pollination
The have the self-pollination and cross-pollination. The self-pollination as a result pollen formed in the male parts of a pea flower pollinates the female parts of the same flower.
The cross-pollination takes plave when pollen from one flower is transported to a different flower.
